What is Cold Brew?

Cold Brew is the latest craze to drive innovation in the coffee category. You’ve most likely heard of the ‘third wave’ of coffee, well Cold Brew is definitely part of this movement. Not to be confused with iced-coffee, Cold Brew is brewed completely differently to any other kind of coffee drink which gives it a really distinctive character, texture and flavour.

Cold Brew vs Iced-Coffee?

You may be wondering what the difference is between iced-coffee and Cold Brew. Well, iced coffee is brewed hot, cooled down and then served over ice, whereas Cold Brew coffee is NEVER exposed to heat. Instead it is steeped in cold/room temperature water for up to 24 hours to extract the best flavours from the bean before being served.
